Why sponsor a child?
Archway has taken 20 kids out of the sewers and off the street and put them in a loving, encouraging and family-like atmosphere where they can go to school and begin to heal the psychological and physical wounds caused from living as a street child. These kids have been given the chance to have a more normal childhood where they eat three meals a day, have personal hygiene, attend school and develop correct social behavior. By sponsoring a child you make this happen.

What you provide
For only $25 a month, which is about 83 cents a day, you will help provide your sponsored child with the following basic necessities

•     Safe and secure living environment

•     Appropriate clothing for the season

•     Attentive care

•     Routine and specialized medical treatment

•     A full nutritious diet

•     Social work assistance for acquiring necessary papers

•     School supplies and uniform in order to attend school

•     4 - 6 detailed updates on your sponsored child including pictures of your sponsored child and/or artwork done by him/her

•     Archway’s newsletter with updates about all our current project

•     The opportunity to send special letters and birthday presents to your sponsored child

How your donations are used
Your donation will directly affect your sponsored child, but in order to run the shelter more smoothly, all donations from the sponsorship program are pooled together. This also enables all the children in the shelter to receive the same high level of care we strive for. Because these children are completely cared for by ARCHWAY, we need more than one sponsor per child in order for the child to remain in the shelter.
